Kollin was in the hospital.

I think Kenny would want Kollin to know that as he starts dealing with his leukemia…that right from the beginning, understand that God has a plan.”

After Kollin had been taken in for tests during the two weeks of construction, the doctors concluded that Kollin had leukemia. “I’d see other kids on TV, these kids who got cancer…now I’m another kid in these group of statics…I’m a kid that had cancer,” Kollin shared.

While everyone else was settling in the new home, Karen spent the next week at the hospital with Kollin. Among the many friends and family that came to see him, his good friend and pastor Brother David Beecher shared that, “I think Kenny would want Kollin to know that as he starts dealing with his leukemia…that right from the beginning, understand that God has a plan.”

As Kollin began his treatment of chemotherapy, Karen now had to come to terms with yet another tragedy in her family and the new challenges that lie ahead of her.
