Building a Difference debuted the world premiere screening of The Goodall Family Story to a full audience at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, FL on January 19th, 2013. A video preview of the event is in production now and will be posted shortly so you can see for yourself how moved the entire audience was!
“The Goodall Family Story” is the 2nd Volume in the Building a Difference series. It that tells the story of the Goodalls, an ordinary family of 8 struggling though extraordinary hardships and a building community that rises to the challenge to help this family in need.
Kenny’s plans of building his dream home for his family got cut short when he was suddenly diagnosed with the ALS disease. Confined to a 3-bedroom home built in the 1940’s, Kenny was heavily burdened of how his family of 8 would be taken care when he was gone.
Partnering with ICI Homes, Builders Care rallied the trades partners of the Northeast Florida Builders Association to rise to the challenge and come to the rescue of this family in desperate need.
But the story doesn’t end there. This family of strong faith will have to continue to find the strength needed to pull together through some of the most challenging struggles of their lives. This documentary tells an inspiring story of the hidden beauty underneath the hardships of suffering and how a community of good-hearted people rose up in remarkable ways.
