Building a Difference puts cameras on the ground and in the streets for a summer of filming during one of the largest outreach initiatives in the northeast. Jesus Week: Summer of Transformation is partnering with hundreds of organizations to launch creative outreaches all throughout the NY Metro.
“Jesus Week is a saturation to transformation movement that unites organizations and churches to a single cause unlike I have ever seen,” explains Producer/Director Mick Richards, and also Exec. Director and Co-founder of the Jesus Week movement. “Any organization or ministry that will register a creative outreach will receive thousands of free resources for their event. All they have to do is go out into their communities and be as creative as possible.”

Creative Outreaches in NYC
Mick Richards is featured in the latest Jesus Week promotional video encouraging its viewers to get involved. Building a Difference will be filming community transformation efforts to the documentary series set in New York City, “the world’s largest missions laboratory.”
The launch of the summer of outreaches will be celebrated in Times Square on June 18th. Co-Founder Pastor Dimas Salaberrios invites people to be a part. “And don’t miss the Times Square Kickoff Celebration,” he says in the promotional video. “As churches gather together as one from the entire tristate region to celebrate Jesus…right in the heart of Times Square for a celebration you will never forget!”
Co-Founder Pastor David Beidel encourages churches and missions leaders to be a part. “Churches can sign up at JesusWeekUSA.org to receive extraordinary resources for creative outreach in their community. We have a distribution center filled with millions of children’s books, bibles and devotionals to bless festivals and inspire neighbors.”
Building a Difference has been filming in NYC for about five years. “We have been serving in New York Metro for about five years now, studying missions movements and city transformation strategies all for a documentary film series,” explains Richards. “And we are anticipating that this will be one of the most powerful series of stories we have ever shared with our audience.”
